Virtual Training – Emotional Intelligence
Leadership is relationship and great leadership works through emotions. Research connecting higher levels of emotional intelligence to effective leadership supports the need for personal growth in increasing one’s self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management. This interactive virtual session explores Daniel Goleman’s work in emotional
intelligence and the powerful role of emotions in the workplace. By the end of this session, participants will define the components of emotional intelligence and identify strategies that set the best leaders apart from the rest – not just in tangibles such as better results but also in the all important intangibles, such as building relationships, motivation, engagement and commitment to achieve high quality, safe patient care.
