Virtual Training – Driving Workplace Violence Prevention Through Strategy and Best Practices
While workplace violence specific to health care settings is not a newly occurring phenomenon, incidents have, unfortunately, become more commonplace in recent years. With health care in the never-fading spotlight throughout the COVID pandemic, workplace violence has also been given public attention as national and statewide leaders seek to create solutions in providing a safe environment for health care workers. The Joint Commission (TJC) has issued new requirements that will go into effect Jan. 1, 2022 to provide the framework to help prevent violence in hospitals. This webinar will offer insight into the new TJC standards and will provide an overview of best practices that have resulted in significant reductions in bedside workplace violence.
