TJC & CMS Physical Environment Update 2027

Understanding the relationship of the CMS requirements and the Physical Environment Chapter of the Joint Commission is essential for successful survey activities, and more importantly, to create a safe Physical Environment for patient care delivery. The session will include discussion on the CMS requirements and their impact on the Joint Commission Physical Environment, with a focus on the previous Environment of Care and the current Physical Environment Chapter.
