The Maryland Healthcare Education Institute (MHEI) is a 501(c)3, research and education foundation that is affiliated with the Maryland Hospital Association.  Founded in 1967 as the Maryland Hospital Research and Education Foundation with an emphasis on promoting health careers, MHEI has evolved into a premier provider of leadership, regulatory and patient safety educational programming for its almost 50 organizational members.
