Coaching for Performance Improvement

Today's health care leaders must meet the challenge of working in a rapidly changing environment while leading others to even higher levels of performance. This workshop will help managers and educators develop and practice coaching techniques that will encourage and assist employees overcome resistance to change and encourage initiative without inviting failure.

Facilitator Workshop:

A Skills Building Course for Facilitators & Team Leaders

This course provides hands-on training, along with small group exercises, in skills that are relevant to any team, whether it involves work redesign, clinical pathways, patient-focused care, or quality improvement. In addition to group dynamics, this course provides practical information about starting and maintaining teams, useful interventions to keep teams on course, facilitator/team interactions, monitoring the team's progress, and strategies to help teams achieve optimum results.

Objectives:

Audience: Facilitators & team leaders (beginner or experienced), managers & supervisors, and anyone who works with groups to get things done.
